Septet Setter

How to Play

Septset is a game about rolling dice, creating hands, and scoring big. To play, you need two or more players, and six 6-sided dice.

On each turn, a player throws the dice up to three times to score as many points as they can. Once a dice is rolled, the player can choose to ‘hold’ the dice, and use it for scoring. A held dice cannot be rolled again that turn.

The ends when any player reaches 756 Points (Exactly three Perfect Runs, if you’re lucky)

When you score, your dice are counted separately for every category they can be scored in (with the exemption of a Perfect Run)

Groups

Ex. (x, x, x) to (x, x, x, x, x, x)

The sum of the dice that contribute to the Group is multiplied by the amount of dice in the Group

Three 1’s = 9 Pts

Three 2’s = 18 Pts

Three 3’s = 27 Pts

Three 4’s = 36 Pts

Three 5’s = 45 Pts

Three 6’s = 54 Pts

Straights

Ex. (1, 2, 3)(4, 5, 6)

The sum of the dice that contribute to the Straight is multiplied by the number of consecutive digits. Straights span from three consecutive digits to five

1, 2, 3 = 18 Pts

1, 2, 3, 4 = 40 Pts

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 = 75 Pts

Septets

Ex. (1, 6)(2, 5)(3, 4)

The sum of all Septets is multiplied by the number of Septets scored

1 Septet = 7 Pts

2 Septets = 28 Pts

3 Septets = 63 Pts

Perfect Run

Ex. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

A Perfect Run incorporates a Straight from 1-6, and all three kinds of Septets

+63 Bonus

Perfect Run = 252 Pts
